What the Numerica mobile app does
Numerica mobile banking puts the same everyday tasks as online banking into a phone app, with a few features that only make sense on the go. Each of these works after you sign in on the official Numerica app rather than on this guide.
- Mobile check deposit — deposit a check by photographing the front and back inside the app.
- Transfers and bill pay — move money between accounts and pay bills from anywhere.

- Balance and transaction alerts — get push notifications so unusual activity is easy to spot.

Downloading the app and signing in
Get the Numerica mobile app only from the official Apple App Store or Google Play — the store listing is the one place you can trust the download. Avoid any site offering a "Numerica APK" or a direct file; sideloaded apps are a common way scammers spread fake banking software. Once installed, open the app and sign in with the same username and password you use for Numerica online banking on the official site, then approve the one-time passcode or push prompt. This guide has no login form of its own.
If you have not enrolled yet, set up online banking first, then add the app. New members can learn how to join on the membership page, and anyone who is locked out can reach a representative through the contact page at 1-800-433-1837. You can confirm your account routing details on the routing number page.
Mobile wallet and contactless payments
Mobile wallet lets you pay in stores by holding your phone near a contactless reader instead of tapping or swiping a card. To set it up, add an eligible Numerica debit or credit card to the wallet app on your phone; the wallet stores a device-specific token rather than your real card number, which keeps the number off the terminal. Numerica also issues contactless cards you can tap directly, so members can choose the checkout method they prefer. Manage the underlying card — including turning it off if the phone is misplaced — from card controls inside the Numerica app.
Staying safe on mobile
Fraud on mobile usually arrives as a text or push message that looks urgent. Numerica will never call, text or email asking for your one-time passcode, activation code, username, password, PIN, or full account or card number. If anyone asks for any of these, it is a scam — delete the message and contact Numerica using the number on the back of your card. Deposits at Numerica are insured by the National Credit Union Administration; you can verify that protection at ncua.gov.
- Install the app only from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Never sideload a "Numerica APK" or a file offered by any other site.
- Sign in with your existing online-banking username and password.
- Approve a passcode only for a sign-in you started, and ignore any request for your code by call or text.
Bank from your phone, safely
